100% coconut fiber, 100% biodegradable. Another container of coir mat heads to South Korea.

From humble coconut husks to a full 40HC container bound for South Korea — on July 30, 2026, Vigi Farm Co., Ltd. proudly completed the export of hand-woven coir mats, each strand painstakingly beaten and knitted by hand using the traditional "đánh búa" technique. The result: a thick, tightly-bound mat that is as tough as it is biodegradable, built to work hard on landscaping, agricultural, and environmental restoration sites.

As the world leans harder into sustainability, natural fibers are having their moment. Coconut coir mats are stepping in where synthetic geotextiles once ruled, offering the same strength with none of the plastic footprint.

South Korea is a market that doesn't compromise on green standards — urban landscaping, slope stabilization, and soil restoration projects there demand materials that perform and protect. Hand-woven coir mat checks every box: it holds moisture, anchors soil on slopes, and gives grass roots exactly the foothold they need to take over.

Product Applications:

  • Soil erosion control and slope protection
  • Moisture retention and soil improvement
  • Landscaping and grass growth support c
  • Environmental and infrastructure projects
